What a Night!

Story by Christoph M

I just recently got home and do I have a story for you.

Me and two of my high school friends often go out on special nights to just hang around and enjoy each one's company. One of our common hang outs is the park near the busy market of our town. We often walk our way there which will usually take half an hour to reach that place by foot so it is technically a long walk. within those walks is a conversation filled journey and sharing of stories.

Like always, we walked there by foot. Before reaching the park, we happen to pass by a dark sidewalk near a dark and gloomy unfinished building. We started hearing small hushes and a cry of help.

"Mister! Mister! help me...." We looked for the source of the voice until my eye caught a small figure of a girl dress in a white gown. I told my friends the strange girl calling for help but when I was about to point the direction of the girl to them. The girl has vanished and the cry was no more. The street lamp suddenly flickered and that was more than enough to scared our pants off.

We reached the dimly lit park where we found ourselves catching our breathes. We later laughed at each other on how scary that encounter was.

The next day I personally asked around on that haunted area and found out that a young girl was found dead there last week. The old woman who told me this story pointed out the location of where the body was found. I felt a shiver run down my spine when I recalled that "that" was the same place where I saw the girl's figure.
